Job description:

Marketing Manager required by a leading IT Services Consultancy. Established for over 50 years, this innovative & entrepreneurial privately-owned organisation has created a niche for developing creative Agile solutions, whilst differentiating themselves from their competitors by the way they invest in their staff. This is a business with a relatively flat hierarchy, an open-door policy right up to the very top, and a business which prides itself on investing a set percentage of its profits in tailored individual training.


The aim of the UK Marketing Manager is to support the Marketing Branding, the Demand Generation and the content creation and execution across multiple channels.  This includes organising marketing events and campaigns to support the Business Development Directors and Solution Directors. The responsibilities of the Marketing Manager includes being accountable for all UK Marketing activities with a “hands-on” pragmatic approach.  You will need specific experience in content creation (blogs, white papers, points of view, writing presentations, creating videos and supporting propositions) launched on the company website and across a variety of channels. 

It is likely this person will come from an Agile IT Services or Professional Services organisation.

The office is based in the City, but you will have the flexibility to be based remotely for the majority of the week.


Required Experience:

n  A proactive B2B marketer with deep specialisation in a senior role

n  Experienced in the software / agile development space and marketing a consulting services business.

n  The individual can write and manage the creation of marketing content in the form of whitepapers, blogs, points of view etc

n  A confident team builder and blender of internal/external resource to scale and deliver against business targets

n  Commercially astute and able to build business cases to support marketing investment and budgeting

n  Understands the value of a strong and symbiotic relationship with sales and is a champion of joined up business development

n  Demonstrable service portfolio creation, positioning and proposition development experience within a software engineering and/or IT consulting environment
