We are looking for an Inbound Sales Manager to join a thriving law firm, based out of either Manchester or Liverpool. This is a new role to this firm, also a fairly new role to the sector and has the potential to really grow and impact a key change in the strategy for growth.
External contact, following up on leads has long been in the purview of the Lawyer in a law firm...but when the marketing function is putting in the efforts to develop a quality stream of leads, imagine how they feel when nothing happens! These are leads which involve a potential client contacting the firm in some manner - in this instance largely through on increased emphasis on digital campaigns! Something needs to change and hence the creation of this role, and eventual function, within the business. This is a role for a sales person who can take hold of the data and info that is incoming from these leads, contact the potential client and have a sensible business conversation to qualify their need. Once this expression of interest is defined and understood as to the requirement, it is then a simpler process to hold the specific partner and/or associate to account for following up and turning it into business.
One of the first orders of business for the new incumbent into the role will be to hire a team to support them. You will be building processes, ensuring that the quality and speed of response is there to ensure that the first impression for potential new business is a good one. Once you have demonstrated that the process works with regards to the leads coming through from the specific marketing campaigns, there is a huge range of data to draw on to expand the impact of the team.
In order to be successful as an applicant we are looking for individuals who have a proven track record in service sales. Individuals who understand how to develop a professional relationship and ask the right questions to understand the root of the potential clients problem to ensure the correct response. Individuals who understand the importance of customer service and first impressions. And individuals who can build a process and procedure, develop a team and respond to key targets.
This role is key to the growth of the firm, one which will rely on the individual having not only strong external relationship skills but top quality internal stakeholder relationship capability too.
