Professional Services firm who provide the world's preeminent corporations and financial institutions. A global and agile business, where quality and innovation are at the forefront of everything they do. The CRM Database & Email Marketing Coordinator will be joining the Marketing and Business Development team in the Hub, which is integral to the wider MBD function across Europe, the Middle East and Asia (EMEA). The team of soon to be 15 people provides high quality support in a broad range of areas, manages efficient and robust processes and maintains the quality of the marketing content and data. This role will support a large user base with their queries and promote the use of InterAction across the firm. The main focus of the role is improving the quality of the data in InterAction and preparing email marketing campaigns. This is a six month contract with fantastic development potential in a competitive industry.

The role Data management

  • Part of the InterAction support team you will assist and take the lead on queries from users on the day to day running and use of InterAction
  • Help users resolve data issues, ensure best practice is adhered to throughout all applications including InterAction, Vuture and Experience Management
  • Understand the dependencies between InterAction and other systems
  • Resolve and manage the DCM (Data Change Management) process
  • Manage and run data quality searches and the DQ process - this will include searching for and merging duplicates
  • Ensure that contacts have up-to-date information
  • Work to a series of processes to ensure the quality of data improves
  • Run monthly reports on activity for teams and offices


Email marketing

  • Creating and compiling email marketing lists from customer relationship management system using pre-defined search criteria submitted on the request form
  • Creating and monitoring a wide variety of email marketing campaigns from submitted requests within agreed time limits
  • Prioritise requests that are received and work to tight deadlines
  • Replicating well-written copy that is free from mistakes editing layouts and adding in images where required
  • Review and maintain data records and update details where required
  • Support the email marketing process by researching and updating 'bounced' contacts
  • Support the wider department on support team escalations and more complex e-communications in relation to event, seminar and newsletter distribution using eMarketing software
    • Create surveys for the business providing guidance where required, report back on survey answers
    • Update new company/person information using a variety of resources to enhance their profiles
    • Reporting on the performance of each campaign


Training and best practice

  • Provide cross training to the new team
  • Be the go to person for queries from the assistants and help and guide them with best practice and knowledge sharing
  • Review current processes to make sure they are working as effectively as possible and be a driver for process improvement


Skills and Experience Required

  • Enjoys working with data, and seeing improvement in data quality
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Process driven and methodical with strong attention to detail
  • Organisation skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks and work under tight deadlines
  • Data manipulation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of eMarketing and survey tools - preferably Vuture
  • Ability to identify differences between records and investigate correct details using external sources of information
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word especially Excel.
  • Influential, focused and versatile team player
  • Ability to manage multiple streams of activities, priorities and people
  • Understanding of technology's role in modern business communication
  • Previous experience using a customer relationship management
