Business Development Manager
Are you a Business Development Manager who is looking for a new challenge and wants to work for an independent, globally focused firm?
This Professional Services firm is looking for a Business Development Manager to help the Scotland region achieve their ambitious growth targets. This is a fantastic opportunity and you will be directly responsible for shaping, driving and implementing the business development and marketing activity in this region.
Your main responsibilities will be:-
Identify new work opportunities through networking and face to face meetings with local businesses and desk research
Build and maintain relationships
Effectively manage multiple bids concurrently at busy periods
Constantly review and improve sales/pursuit processes and bid documentation.
Client listening and account management
Have a detailed understanding of key client accounts and work with local stakeholders to ensure proactive strategies are in place to grow/retain work
Liaise with regional colleagues to share ideas
- Influence senior stakeholders
Ideally you will have previous experience of the following:-
Strong understanding / experience in professional services preferred ideally in accountancy
Experience of bid management and production
Ability to work independently and have excellent project management and communication skills
Experience across all online and offline channels
Actively manage data quality and be willing to play an integral role in driving the use of our new CRM system.
