Internal Communications Manager (12 month FTC)
This mid-sized international law firm is a breath of fresh air and a real alternative to the large global law firms; it offers a good work/life balance and an environment where innovation thrives. In this Internal Communications Manager role, you will be aligned to the firm’s IT department; the role will involve designing and delivering internal communications for strategic IT projects as part of the firm’s ambitious change programme. In addition, you will also deliver day-to-day comms for the IT department.
The role will specifically involve:
- Working with the Project Management Office to create and deliver the internal communications plan for the change programme;
- As the IT Communications Lead, develop and deliver the communications plan for the IT department;
- Create comms strategies and campaigns to raise awareness of IT projects;
- Devise a calendar of IT communications to provide awareness of IT maintenance and BAU work.
You will have strong experience of internal communications in a professional services or large B2B organisation. Ideally you will have worked with IT teams on change comms and be familiar with translating technical jargon into concepts that will engage with non-technical audiences. You will have also have excellent writing skills as well as good project management skills.
