A highly ranked law firm is looking to hire a Senior Bid Manager to join the Business Development team. The role will initially be home based and as government guidance changes then there will be an expectation for the role to a small percentage of the week based in Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham or London.
This role is a key hire for the firm with a view to transforming the firm's approach to bid management. It is about developing best practice whilst delivering consistent and high calibre bids as new opportunities are identified. The role will also include developing closer relationships with the partners in order to provide effective coaching for pitches to ensure the win ratio continues to rise and supporting the planned growth of the firm over the next few years.
This role has massive potential to develop as the role holder develops their influence. The successful applicant will need to be a proven successful bid manager - ideally with a background of working in professional services. Someone who can bring energy and ideas to the position to help create the change required.
This is an ideal position for an experienced bid manager from a top professional services firm who has already experienced best practice and feels confident that they can move into a more autonomous position and take that skill set with them.
