A truly global law firm requires a marketing and BD and marketing specialist on a 12 month fixed term contract basis who will support and work alongside the London TMT and IP partners and associates on all aspects of BD & Marketing.

You will serve as the lead point of contact for partners in relation to all practice-related BD & marketing enquires and opportunities, ensuring the ongoing, consistent delivery of high quality support. The role holder will support the development and implementation of the London TMT and IP BD and marketing plan and initiatives relating to client targeting, product specific business development and profile raising. The BD & Marketing Advisor will be expected to provide business development tools to enable lawyers to pursue new business leads and to keep clients abreast of market developments. You will also be the lead point of contact for partners and associates for all pitch requests within the practice, working with the Bid Team to ensure it produces quality and accurate first drafts tailored to the opportunity and client and will project manage the end to end process, including input from associates and partners to deliver a timely submission. The successful applicant will manage and own client plans for the practice key priority clients, helping drive the relationship forward by participating in client marketing calls, ensuring follow-up actions are captured and checking in on progress against action points. In addition, you will working with the central events team to identify, plan and execute appropriate client events including webinars, client seminars and roundtable events and manage end-to-end directory and awards submissions process for the group.

You will need to be a driven Senior BD Executive with strong academic qualifications or equivalent and proven BD experience gained whilst working in a professional services environment. Commercially aware and a team player, it is also essential that you are an excellent communicator and presenter with outstanding influencing skills and the ability to take all parties with you.
