An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join a commercially astute law firm with a strong international focus.

The role holder will join a small but growing team and will support the new BD Director in leading an exciting and wide-ranging change programme aimed at increasing the impact and effectiveness of business development, marketing and communications activities within the firm. The successful applicant will provide business development support for Dispute Resolution. You will be tasked with devising and implementing tactical BD plans and driving strategic business development initiatives in line with business goals. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and taking forward initiatives and campaigns to help grow the firm's profile within their chosen markets. Your duties will include working with the lead partners on their client development plans, leading pitches, co-ordinating marketing support to increase profile, such as speaking at industry conferences and contributing to trade publications, identifying campaigns through which the firm can create client-focused collateral and ensuring experience data is accurate, as well as other day to day BD support.

This role would suit a dynamic, astute and enthusiastic marketeer, who is keen to have a real impact in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. Commercially aware and sensitive to the concerns and needs of internal and external clients, it is essential that the Business Development Manager is professional and personable with a mature attitude and possesses the ability to work appropriately with people at all levels of an organisation. Proven managerial experience in a professional services business development department and a demonstrable track record of delivering change and enhancements within previous roles are prerequisite. Previous Litigation experience is also essential.
