This innovative accountancy leader requires an inspiring and experienced Head of New Business to join the sales capability leadership to set and drive a continuous improvement agenda to deliver a world class sales function and capability for the firm.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the role holder will lead a group of regional sales specialists who focus on generating new opportunities in the market as well as supporting strategically important accounts. You will join the Sales Leadership team and, due to regional nature of this role, you will also work closely with the Director Responsible for the Regional business. The Head of New Business will be tasked with directly driving sales and building relationships across key accounts with a focus on growth priorities. You will support the Director of Sales to build a world class sales and account management function, recruiting and developing the regional sales team, and manage a group of Senior Managers and Managers working across the regional business focused on driving sales activity on key accounts. The successful candidate will be expected to evolve and promote both the use of best practice and the account and opportunity support driving KPI measurement. The location of this role can be in any UK office, but there will be a requirement to travel to other regional offices to ensure you are spending time with the team.

You will be of graduate calibre with a proven track record in business development and client relationship management gained in a highly competitive B2B environment. The ideal candidate will possess expert understanding of best practice and sales excellence and strong knowledge of best practice sales and account management methodology. Strong people management and experience leading, motivating, developing and coaching diverse teams will be critical to success in this challenging role. In addition, the Head of New Business will be creative, upbeat and innovative and be able to effectively communicate key business messages to a diverse audience.
