Regional Head of Business Development | Professional Services | Manchester
We are looking to recruit an exceptional Head of Business Development to lead Marketing and Business Development activity within the region, including regional business development strategy; planning and implementation; and improving business development capability and performance within the region to support firm wide growth plans. Focusing upon the North West region of this innovative and ambitious Professional firm you will work closely with Partners to increase client growth and improve retention, and to drive new business development. you will undertake analysis of the market and the local client base to identify current issues and opportunities. You will work with Office sales partner/ market leader and relevant partners, generates a definitive sales pipeline through the identification of 'active' targets {and key clients}, and manages the sales pipeline against national KPIs.
Key responsibilities :
*Overseeing local and national marketing campaigns/ initiatives to ensure key prospects and clients receive appropriate and relevant communication.
*Overseeing local implementation of advertising/sponsorship/PR opportunities.
*Supporting the Partners in the creation of local BD/marketing plans and campaigns, including local or regional events.
*Working with Partners to increase client retention, growth and improve client satisfaction through local implementation of national client management and client service initiatives.
*Working with Partners to define and create Key Accounts, attend KAM meetings and support action planning.

The successful candidate will have:
A strong track record of developing, implementing and delivering BD and strategic marketing plans within Professional Services
A strong commercial awareness and the ability to engage with and influence key decision makers at a senior level, to identify new business opportunities with both new prospects and existing clients
Thorough understanding and demonstrable application of lead generation, sales and or client management activity and proposal/bid management
Experience of developing and mentoring staff
Able to demonstrate strong BD and marketing experience, gained within a professional services environment (law, accountancy or real estate) is essential.
