An amazing opportunity to join a leading construction innovation consultancy as a Stakeholder Engagement Consultant in Watford

About the brand:

They are a leading global construction research consultancy who provide research, technology and expertise to improve our built environment. The firm has just won new business so require someone with strong stakeholder mapping skills to come in and hit the ground running on a brand new digital project.

About the role:

This is a 6 month contract role where the successful individual will report into the Communications and Engagement Lead. You will be carrying out stakeholder mapping exercises and support the development of the overarching Comms and Engagement strategy during your time there. You will also be tasked with:-

  • Mapping the construction landscape to identify existing capabilities and nationwide initiatives across government, industry and academia, seeking to reach deep into the industry
  • Apply a combination of qualitative and quantitative methodology to gather key data including desk-based research, stakeholder interviews, surveys and analysis
  • Assess the best methods of communication and convening for stakeholders
  • Produce a report covering key findings, major conclusions, and recommendations
  • Deliver end-to-end, direct response to customer queries, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and managing all related documentation
  • Support the wider Communications and Engagement team as required, including the configuration and analysis of a new CRM system that supports management of stakeholders and achievement of engagement objectives

About you

You will be a strong Stakeholder Engagement professional who is quickly able to build strong relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will ideally come from a construction/engineering/property background. In addition, you will also possess:-

  • A keen awareness of, and interest in, developments and future trends in construction and related sectors
  • Proven ability to work on complex programmes, whilst maintaining focus on delivery
  • The ability to communicate complex information effectively to a wide range of audiences
  • Comfortable preparing business reports and confident in advising senior leaders
  • Educated to a minimum of bachelor's degree level. A relevant postgraduate degree or professional accreditation would be advantageous
