Business Development Director

The Role

The Business Development Director has a key strategic advisory role in the senior management team of the firm. This is a very exciting opportunity to influence the firm’s growth and development and take it to market in a focused and innovative way.

Leading a team of 19 business development and marketing professionals, the primary objectives of the role are to:

  • lead on the Clients and Markets strategy
  • drive the firm's B2B growth through its two routes to market – sector and geography
  • lead and develop a technically excellent Client Development team to deliver client-focussed projects
  • run the firm's bid process
  • deliver a brand refresh project
  • lead on digital channel strategy
  • structure and monitor client listening
  • embed account management

The Person

  • The role requires an appetite to drive change and bring people together with strong leadership and effective communication.
  • Suitable candidates will have extensive business development and client relationship experience gained within the professional services sector, with a proven track record of delivering a strategy and tactical initiatives that add value.
