My client is a top 100 law firm a network of offices covering Private and Commercial client work on a national level. About to embark on an ambitious growth strategy they are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth through business development activities with existing UK Corporate clients. Reporting to the Marketing Director and working closely with the Head of Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible for client-facing business development as well as the helping to embed a business development culture with lawyers within the Firm.

* Spotting quality opportunities and generating leads for the Firm
* Development of quality relationships with work referrers
* Exploiting more work opportunities from existing relationships for the Firm.
* Identify and advise key stakeholders of opportunities for new business or cross-selling
* Collaboratively work with the Head of Sales to develop opportunities with new clients recently secured that reflect their needs, concerns and objectives.
* Monitor sales information including conversion rates, key targets, pipeline managements, budget and trend information,
* Present new products and services to enhance existing relationships and grow revenue, arrange and participate in internal and external client brands.
* Act as the driving force behind the implementation of the business development aspects of the departmental strategy, working collaboratively to deliver growth.
* Attend business/networking functions and provide feedback and information on market trends.
Skills and Experience
* Strong understanding of the UK Corporate and SME client business environment
* Demonstrable success in business development, within a professional services environment
* An entrepreneurial approach to business development within UK Corporate clients
* Outstanding relationship building and people management skills - a prolific networker
* Proven ability to drive and develop pipeline opportunities
* Excellent track record of hitting deadlines and delivering targets
