This leading, highly reputable law firm is looking for a PR & Communications Adviser to join the award winning marketing team. As a member of the team, the Public Relations Adviser will be the key PR contact for key practice groups and will be driving forward the PR activities. You will be responsible for developing a media relations strategy, leveraging existing media relationships and creating press releases.
The position will involve managing a variety of internal business relationships at a senior level. The PR Adviser will oversee social media posts, edit articles and draft client newsletters. You will work closely with the rest of the marketing team to provide strategic PR input, thought leadership campaigns and agree key messages as well as proactively identifying and pursuing external communication opportunities.
This is a very responsible role which oversees daily PR functions and maintains the press office infrastructure, including the development and implementation of media relations initiatives and drafting newsworthy content.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a PR role ideally from a professional services environment or agency. It is essential the candidate is very proactive, a thorough understanding of the UK media and the ability to write well-structured content.
