Marketing & Communication Intern
The Intern will support the Marketing, BD & Communication team with diverse tasks oriented towards getting to know DLA Piper, and its legal services. You will work towards the development of DLA Piper vision and values, with an enhanced team spirit and will be able to deliver the assigned work to the highest standards, ensuring attention to detail.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Intern will provide active support to the Marketing, BD & Communications team (in particular) on:
Database Management - Work with the various teams to implement local deal capture processes. In particular, gathering information on the Firm's activities, managing CVs for fee earners in the practice groups, working where necessary with other departments
Marketing - Prepare materials supporting the practice groups and industry sectors which DLA Piper assists on. Ensure that descriptions on the Firm's website and other marketing disciplines are relevant and up-to-date
Pitching - Prepare pitches and capability statements in line with the Firm's guidelines. Collaborate with other departments to maintain a high level of local expertise and pitch materials that are easily accessible
Directories - Prepare directory submissions relevant to the practice groups of the office. Liaise with other teams to ensure local practice submissions are adhering to global guidelines and policies, using one uniform message for DLA Piper's submissions
Events - Support the organisation and execution of external and internal events, coordinating local sponsorships
Other - Manage any other duties and responsibilities needed from time to time by the Marketing, BD and Communication team
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
Marketing and/or Communication student (Bachelor Degree level)
Perfect command of English and French
Well organised, proactive, flexible team player
Ability to prioritise and manage effectively multiple and complex tasks
Accuracy, confidentiality and punctuality are familiar to you
Interest to work in a dynamic yet demanding environment and context
