One of the largest professional services firms in the world is looking for an experienced, credible and highly motivated Senior Manager to offer support to the Financial Services industry, focusing on Banking and Capital Markets. The firm is happy to consider both full-time and part-time candidates.

The prime focus of the Sales and Marketing team is to support the development and implementation of the firm's market strategy and in particular to deliver revenue growth, enhanced relationships and networks and a distinctive brand experience. As part of this wider team, the Senior Marketing & BD Manager should be seen as a leader in driving the FS industry portfolio forward on a consistent basis and will be responsible for driving and developing propositions, services and opportunities across priority accounts. You will lead the FS client feedback programme, working with the FS market driver team, to ensure the messages from client feedback are shared and acted upon to help increase opportunity conversion and client satisfaction. You will also drive pipeline and pursuits for major opportunities and support proposition development, helping shape messages to the UK market around the FS programmes. Acting as a strategic advisor to the FS industry leaders on all activities, growth plans, market opportunities, client issues and channels to market, you will work with sales and marketing teams to ensure relevant insight is fed into thought leadership and that marketing campaigns are properly targeted and driven to deliver return on investment. You will be expected to attend client, prospect and intermediary events, ensuring effective follow up on these events, and build external relationships with key industry bodies and opinion formers to create an external footprint. You will also lead the internal comms strategy, developing a connected team and platform for sharing information and developing content, identifying issues and best practice. The successful candidates will also work with the FS COO to report financial results and budget forecasts and must ensure there is a thorough understanding of the firm's full pipeline of activity and opportunities in order to make resourcing and investment decisions.

The Senior Marketing & BD Manager must be creative and innovative with a proven track record in business development, sales, client relationship management and opportunity management, ideally within a professional services environment. Proactive and tenacious, with a positive can do approach, you will possess strong people management and development skills with demonstrable past experience of managing teams. In addition, candidates will require excellent project management and powerful communication skills in order to be credible and to be able to challenge the FS leadership team and senior management, including Partners and Directors active in the market.
