Senior Bid Executive |Professional Services | London
We are looking to recruit an exceptional Senior Bid Executive for this high profile International Professional Services firm. You will help support strategic pitches, bids and tender projects that deliver successful responses effectively and efficiently.
The aim is to work closely with the Bids Manager and team to embed, coordinate and project manage bids, proposals, pitches and tenders that maximise the return on the firm's time and investment. This will involve researching as well as responding to incoming invitations.
The Bids Executive will handle tenders, proposals and capability statements. They will take responsibility for working with the BD team and fee earners on winning strategies tailored for each client/prospect opportunity. This involves overseeing timely production of high quality documents or presentations and liaising with lawyers to convert the opportunity.
Key responsibilities:
-Work with the Bids and BD team to support partners to prepare for strategic bid presentations. Develop and manage the project plan, drive key milestones, work with partners to produce drafts for editing, develop meaningful cases studies and assist in preparing fee-earners for meetings and presentations
-Research best practice across other professional services firms, and work with the Bids Manager and Bids Advisor to critically review the approach to pitching, and develop and implement improvements in process and approach
-Work with the Bids Manager and Bids Advisor to contribute and project manage bids, or elements of bids, including facilitating and coordinating meetings, contributing to the strategy and messaging, drafting and reviewing content from a sales perspective
-Oversee the maintenance of the central repository/bids library of information which can be accessed by others areas of the firm, proactively adding to it after each pitch to improve the knowledge base
-Ensure all proposal and tender opportunities are tracked within the Firm's CRM system from when the opportunity becomes live through to post review feedback
-Proactively conduct debrief interviews where requested, following tender submission outcomes and ensure feedback is shared with the pitch teams and Client Development team. Help to turn feedback into action plans to continuously improve performance

The successful candidate will have either a bids or wider marketing/BD background within Professional services/Business services The ability to work to deadlines and attention to detail is essential. You will have strong word, excel and good design skills. Attention to detail is key
