Business Development Executive
We have enjoyed significant success in recent years. This has set the foundation to grow the firm even further and take us to another level within the market. In order to achieve these ambitious goals we are heavily investing into our Client Development (Marketing & Business Development) team and are excited to release six new roles to transform our approach and ensure our capability delivers on our commercial goals.
Our growth strategy is centred around our core sectors we operate in, namely: property, infrastructure and construction; retail, leisure, food and drink; media and technology; and financial services. As our Business Development Executive you will work closely with our Business Development Managers and Partners to devise and deliver an integrated sector strategy which will ensure we achieve our commercial goals.

What you'll do
As our Business Development Executive you will have a varied workload which will help shape our sector strategy. You will draft capability statements and support of pitches and you will conduct in-depth research to analyse and identify market trends and opportunities and ensuring we stand out from our competitors. You will manage our approach with associations/memberships and prepare our legal directory submissions.
This is a newly created role and you will have the genuine opportunity to shape how your career progresses. With our transparent career framework and in conjunction with the bespoke training you'll receive, you'll clearly be able to map your development.
What we need
This will be a challenging and demanding role, working to tight deadlines and supporting highly valued clients. In order to be successful you will demonstrate the following:
- A track record within a B2B business development support role. You do not need prior legal experience, however, you must have a genuine interest in our sectors.
- Excellent communication skills. You will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders and you will deliver a professional and accurate service at all times.
- Creativity. You will be able to spot opportunities and create innovative routes to market.
- Strong project management ability. You will have a varied workload across sectors and clients with different deadlines to hit; you must be able to methodically work through your work to deliver on time.
