A great opportunity has arisen for someone with strong professional services experience to join a rapidly expanding global law firm. The Pitching Lead will define and own the firm's end-to-end best practice panel pitch process and ensure the delivery of high quality, client focused panel pitches.

The role holder will establish and lead a newly formed central pitch team, initially focussed on the delivery of high value, tailored panel pitches that will support clients' commercial objectives and establish the remit and focus of the team including setting up SLAs, supporting needs and ensuring their delivery. Developing a pitching brand that is viewed as best-in-market, the Pitching Lead will be responsible for driving a truly client-centric approach to the firm's cradle-to-grave pitching process, ensuring the implementation and embedding of best practice pitching processes such as opportunity qualification and rigorous gathering of pitch debriefs and client feedback and will also set the direction and drive change of wider pitching activities to support the delivery of the firm's BD and clients strategy. The successful candidate must manage a complex workload for the team with multiple pitches running in parallellead and lead the provision of pitch meeting coaching to improve the performance of pitch teams, including tactics, strategy and rehearsal feedback, and coach partners on sales pipeline management and sales conversations. Driving and owning the continuous improvement of the firm's pitching infrastructure, systems and behaviours will be an important part of the role.

To prosper in this excellent role you will need to be a commercially aware and sales focused bid specialist with outstanding writing, editing and influencing skills and have a proven ability and experience of setting up and running a pitch team including key stakeholder engagement and experience of leading multiple, simultaneous and complex pitching opportunities in a global professional services environment. It is essential that the Pitching Lead comes from a professional services background and possesses previous demonstrable experience of coaching at partner level in a global environment.
