An innovative U.S. law firm requires a Business Development Executive to work closely with the lawyers in the firm's London, Madrid and Paris offices to support business development efforts in Europe, including all aspects of business development, marketing, communications and PR.

The Business Development Executive will work with the Business Development Manager to provide seamless business development support to the European practice. Pitching will constitute an important element of the role with the role holder supporting the preparation of pitches, RFIs and RFPs, including research, coordinating collateral and assembling materials and using and sharing best practice throughout the firm. You will also track results and prepare responsive reports and analyses incorporating recommendations for increasing effectiveness. From a communications perspective you will be responsible for editing, updating and maintaining practice marketing materials such as practice descriptions, lawyer biographies and content for the website, drafting new material as required, and co-ordinating the scheduling and preparation of draft submissions for legal directories, league tables, awards and related industry guides. In addition, you will provide requested research to develop intelligence on prospective targets, industries and markets, identify speaking and sponsorship opportunities, participate in the production of client development events, assist in the preparation of statistical data used in competitive analysis and maintain databases and credentials lists for European business development.

The ideal candidate for the role of Business Development Executive will be a well-educated, proactive team player, with excellent communication and I.T. skills allied with strong attention to detail. You must enjoy managing a varied workload and working under the pressure of deadlines. It is essential that the Business Development Executive persistent and robust and has proven professional services BD experience in a similar role, to include time spent working in Corpoarte M&A, and possesses both a strong work ethic and the flexibility to meet the demands of the position.
