One of the largest professional services firms in the world is looking for a motivated, professional and engaging Bids, Pursuits & Proposals Manager to provide support to client teams from first engagement, through the proposal and pitch process, to closing the deal. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who wants to be a part of a maturing proposals infrastructure.

As a Bids, Pursuits & Proposals Manager your focus will be on ensuring that the right strategy is put in place for each opportunity, helping teams execute the pursuit in the most efficient and effective way and challenging and supporting teams in a constructive manner to improve the firm's chances of success. The role holder will enjoy a varied role as no two days and no two pursuits will be the same. You will be supporting the firm's highest value and most strategically important Government and Public Service pursuits. A significant part of the role will be coaching teams through proposals and frameworks by helping them prepare for and respond to opportunities via regulated procurement channels. You will provide support and advice at all stages of the pursuit and will be expected to collaborate with other members of the Government and Public Services team to monitor the pipeline and to identify the most appropriate package of support for each pursuit. Relationships will be key and managing and building on them across a large stakeholder group will be vital.

The ideal candidate will have the confidence to advise and challenge thinking at all levels of seniority, whilst being able to build relationships with multiple stakeholders. The Bids, Pursuits & Proposals Manager will have excellent project management and coaching skills, coupled with an ability to think commercially and see the bigger picture. You will need patience, flexibility and sensitivity to deal with unexpected changes or challenges and will be able to manage multiple tasks and a broad range of stakeholders often operating virtually. You will also be a self-motivated individual of graduate calibre with a proven track record of delivering proposal management and bid advice for high value proposals and of proposal coaching and provision of proposal support, with the ability to implement both strategic and tactical initiatives. A track record of delivering proposals to government and public sector organisations is prerequisite.
