Marketing Manager – Channel Marketing


Our client, an established and fast growing Asset Management organisation, is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join their dynamic team of marketing and communications professionals based in the heart of the City.

As Channel Marketing Manager you will develop and execute a range of marketing activities for wholesale and institutional clients globally and will be able to add creativity, insight and value to the global marketing function with particular focus on content, events and campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be an effective multi-tasker with an enthusiastic and positive attitude who thrives in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will work closely with other parts of the marketing and communications team and the broader business to ensure a fully integrated approach is delivered to the business.


Role Specification:


  • Managing the events programme for selected channels, ensuring the programme fits in with the overall marketing strategy and monitoring all events to ensure they are on message, cost effective and successful
  • Looking at new ways in which to develop, share and optimise content
  • Sourcing, editing, and publishing investment content for both digital channels and printed marketing collateral
  • Collation and analysis of content and media MI and preparing reports to key stakeholders
  • Developing and executing campaigns for selected channels /regions
  • Liaising with creative and media agencies and third-party suppliers
  • Monitor and evaluate all campaigns and prepare statistics. 


Candidate Specification:


  • Solid channel marketing experience 
  • Experience within Asset/Investment Management organisations 
  • Events management
  • Sourcing, editing and managing content
  • Campaign management, including planning, implementation and reporting
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of asset management and broader capital markets
  • In-depth knowledge of the full marketing mix with a clear understanding of the evolving and inter-related digital landscape
  • Creative and driven mind set with a willingness to challenge the status quo and promote innovation
  • Experience of working with email distribution tools and other marketing management systems
