Senior Key Account Manager - London, Birmingham or Leeds
An award winning, international law firm are looking for an exceptional senior CRM specialist to manage a number of their key clients in order to increase revenue and maximise profitability for their Consumer sector. Based in either London, Birmingham or Leeds, the successful candidate will be joining an innovative team, who are pushing the boundaries on legal key account management.
Deputising for the Team Head of Key Account Management and Sector Development on occasion and acting as advocate for the Client Programme on a global basis, the role holder will lead, coach and motivate a small team consisting of one key account manager and one client communications executive. You will be tasked with providing business intelligence on key competitors and marketplace trends and identifying ways of gaining a competitive advantage in the market. You will manage a small portfolio of your own accounts comprised of the sector's most strategic clients, leading from the front through deployment of world-class key account management techniques. You will direct all marketing communications globally for the sector, ensuring that it is entirely aligned with the sector strategy, challenging traditional marketing techniques and embracing technology and cutting-edge approaches to drive connectivity with the firm's client base. The Senior Key Account Manager will develop and build key client and industry relationships, participating in client reviews when necessary, identify and drive strategic secondments to maximise business development impact and craft and drive a bespoke client feedback plan for each account in the role holder's personal portfolio, ensuring a follow-up plan is implemented.
It is essential that the applicants have a strong academic record allied to extensive experience in a client-facing, professional services environment. The Senior Account Manager will require strong leadership and coaching skills together with an ability to develop a new team. The successful candidate will have proven experience of driving significant change in a partnership through well-developed diplomacy, listening and influencing skills and the ability to build strong internal relationships at the highest level in order to implement strategic change. A commercial attitude and proven track record of sales are essential qualities that are required in this firm, whilst a knowledge of the Consumer sector would be highly beneficial for this role.
