Newly created Marketing Director position within a research consulting firm. This is a firm on an aggressive growth path and now requires a marketing director to support the sales teams in lead generation. The firm is entrepreneurial and progressive, giving the opportunity to really add value and make a difference.
As Marketing Director, leading a small team, you will be responsible for working alongside the sales director to drive lead generation through marketing campaigns. This is a greenfield role and therefore requires someone with a can-do attitude. The firm are looking to raise their profile globally, building on their existing presence. Working closely with sales teams, you will define key messaging, develop value propositions and create campaigns to target new and existing clients that deliver strong ROI.
It is essential that the successful candidate is both hands on with the tactical delivery but also able to set strategy and project manage. You will have a demonstrable track record in creating direct marketing campaigns that truly deliver leads, and be a strong mentor and team leader to a developing marketing team. International experience would be an advantage, as well as knowledge of the financial services sector.
