Junior BD Manager (Private Client & Investment Management)
A great opportunity has arisen for an ambitious business development specialist to join a highly regarded national legal firm in the role of Junior Business Development Manager (Private Client & Investment Management). The role holder will have the opportunity to cover a wide range of business development and marketing disciplines.
The Junior Business Development Manager will work alongside more senior members of the Marketing & BD team focusing on the firm's private client practice and the firm's wider investment management group as well as a variety of cross practice area groups and firm-wide projects. The team is highly collaborative and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the success of the whole function. The role holder will bring a strategic and planned approach to marketing and business development, advising on best practice, attending departmental meetings and following up on planned activity. It will be your responsibility to drive forward initiatives that you feel would directly impact on the success of the groups. You will be heavily involved in business planning, bids and proposals and detailed research and analysis. You will also be responsible for marketing communications, directory and award submissions and working with the events team in relation to the organisation of events that will help the practices develop their reputations in key markets.
Pre-requisites for the role of Junior BD Manager (Private Client & Investment Management) include an outstanding academic record allied to proven business development experience gained in a leading law or professional services firm, to include strong pitch and proposal preparation and event management experience. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and tenacious team player, with high attention to detail and excellent influencing and communication skills with the ability to establish credibility quickly at senior levels.
